The Dying Dandies, a quartet of Gothenburg, Sweden, (they originated as a trio in 2006) plays an intelligent pop with a nod to the sound of both the Manchester and the Scotland scene. With a unique sound, centred around keyboard and guitar, and a rather cocky (though fresh and tounge-in-cheek) attitude the band pays tribute to great artists like Morrissey, The Smiths, The Libertines, Babyshambles, Television Personalities, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Dexy's Midnight Runners, The Jam, The Style Council, Orange Juice, Aztec Camera etc.
