About The Duration
Formed in Los Angeles in 2002. Members included Nico Jordan (guitar/vocals), Mike Capritta (bass) and Kurt Amelang (drums). Their first recording was an unreleased 2 song demo, recorded by Greg Burns of Red Sparowes in the summer of 2002. At the beginning of 2003 the band relocated to Memphis, Tn. and recorded a 6 song EP titled "Other Actions". The EP was recorded by Jason Potter and was self released in limited quantities. The Duration broke up soon thereafter, only to reform in 2005 under the new name Severe Severe .
