About The Doobury Firkins
The Doobury Firkins are an 'open-source' band based around songs written by ex-Some Friendlies singer/songwriter Martin Bell. The only other permanent member is lead guitarist James Titterton. In early 2008, they recorded the "Big Blue" three-track EP with Jon Ray (The Rich Evans Band) on bass and organ and Richard Stillman (Lowgrinder) on drums. Shortly after the band played a one-off gig with members of Agent Elf completing their line-up.
