There is more than one band by this name 1) The Disappointments are a melodic hardcore-punk band who hail from stoke-on-trent, england, and have been signed to fierce panda records and have released their debut album 'Reasons to Revolt'. 2) The Disappointments were a melodic, edgy pop-punk band from Missoula, MT. Guitarist,Zack White and bassist, Ed Kaufmann found drummer, Dan Ries to make the three-piece version of the band in the fall of 1997.
