About The Dirty Mac
The Dirty Mac is a supergroup that formed at the Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus in December of 1968. Members included John Lennon (vocals, rhythm guitar), Eric Clapton of the freshly disbanded Cream (lead guitar), Mitch Mitchell of The Jimi Hendrix Experience (drums), and Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones (bass). They performed two songs, Lennon's White Album track "Yer Blues", and a jam featuring Yoko Ono (vocals) and Ivry Gitlis (violin), entitled "Whole Lotta Yoko".
