About The Dihydro
The Dihydro is the Inverness-based grunge project of vocalist and guitarist Thomas Newell. Initially formed in 2019 as a duo with drummer Jamie Douglas, they released their debut single Codeine in 2020. They released their first album 兩 in October 2023 with a launch event at the Raigmore Motel in Inverness. Exclusive to CD, it consisted of both studio tracks and live recordings. This would end up being the band's last release and show with Jamie, who left the band in early 2024.
