The Delta Of Venus is record store employee/barista extraordinaire Kian Vaziri from Minneapolis, Mn. He records his lo-fi pop music in his apartment with electric guitars, keyboards, and bongos. His collection of demoes have been circulated in Minneapolis since the summer of 2008. He draws comparisons to Ariel Pink (both draw on melodies that deem to dig into a nostalgic memory of the listener) are superficial, rather regarding the process of recording, and not the style of the music or songwriting.
