A long long time ago in a frozen mining town far far away...The Deefons were a group of kids that lived in a small Canadian mining town called Kirkland Lake, in the late 90's. They recorded two albums. "Clippings From The Edge of The Road" was recorded in a small New Liskeard home studio in 2 sesssions for $1200 in August 1998. Sunset was recorded and produced by Ben Gardiner and Ryan Blais (of Cragmatic Pope and Groundstate) in Ryan's basement in August 1999 using a 4 track and a couple of pentium (1) computers.
