The DeCastros: Babette, Cherie, and Margarita (who went by the name Peggy) DeCastro, were a singing trio of sisters, and one cousin, Olgita DeCastro, who replaced Babette when she retired in 1958 to focus on her family. They were most active in the '40s and '50s, with their LP recordings released in the early '60s. Each sister was born in a different country: Babette, in Cuba; Cherie, the United States; Peggy, the Dominican Republic. Prior to coming to the United States in 1945
