The Dead Letters are a band from Kendal, Cumbria whose musical influences include alternative rock bands such as The Smashing Pumpkins & Nirvana, and also more melodic, power pop influences such as The Posies & Teenage Fanclub. Counterbalancing the heavier side there are also more introspective lyrical moments that echo artist such as Elliott Smith.
