The Days of the Moon is an accidental pseudonym for David Mellor, created when the 1993 album "The Days of the Moon: The Words and Music of David Mellor" was mistakenly called "The Words and Music of David Mellor" and credited to The Days of the Moon. The name was retained for the followup album, The Prince, in 1994. Mellor has since made both albums available digitally via bandcamp but now credited to David Mellor.
