Based in York, The Dark Roads music is best described as anthemic alt.rock with a shot of the blues. Think Ryan Adams and Crazy Horse cranking it up to 11! The Dark Roads formed in early 2009 playing blues tinged rock with Americana influences. Bringing something a little different to the York music scene, they went on to play successful gigs alongside 'The Band of Heathens', 'people: in airports', 'the Buccaneers', 'Last Harbour' and 'Joey and the Deacons'.
