The Curse of Sorrow is an up and coming band from Wilkes-Barre, PA, who, unable to clearly fit into any genre, describe their style of music as "grave rock". Drawing on diverse musical backgrounds and influences ranging from the Grateful Dead to the Misfits to Motley Crue, they form a unique sound which varies from haunting melodic rock to screaming metal to rockabilly influenced alternative. Thei r lyrics tend to tell a story, invariably horror themed and touching on the darker side of human nature.
