The band is comprised of genetically identical twins Gerrard and Simian Culpa, who were born five years apart. The band were formed in utero according to Gerrard, the spokesperson of the two twins, in most interviews. They were well known around their hometown for their ‘eccentric’ behaviour both keen amateur cineasts, musicians and ufologists.
