About The Cheques
"The Cheques” A musical group form Alexandria, Louisiana, USA. Formed in the 60's. Records include "Funky Munky" "Deeper" "Sweet Sally Brown" "Cool My Desire" "A thousand Miles Away" . To the best of my recollection they were made up mainly of Air Force individuals that were stationed at England Air Force Base, but some local individuals did play as well. "Funky Munky" was a very popular hit and I think it may have gone gold, but do not quote me on that.
