The Candees are a sugar-sweet girl group formed in the manner of the Monkees in the UK in 1985. Their own description, from their website, is as follows :"a 'budget bangles' meets 'poor man's pandoras' we made one album 'candyfloss' in 1986 which finally reached the sweetshops in 1997. had two songs on a compilation album called 'hot hits volume one' which was released in 1985 on the legendary indie-pop label 'the dance network'. just like the monkees we played all the instruments
