The Business of Pleasure are an American instrumental jazz band from Portland, Oregon. The band released their debut mixtape Mix Tape No. 1 in 2016, featuring covers, improvs and originals from a 3-day period at their local bar The B-Hive. This was followed up two years later with the second mixtape, similarly titled Mix Tape No. 2, which saw the band performing at another local bar Watertrough Saloon. Their third mixtape Goin' Off at the Trough was a recording of their final show of their three-year residency at the Watertrough Saloon.
