The Bureau was a mod revival band from England that began when Mick Talbot, Geoff Blythe, Steve Spooner, Pete Williams and Andy "Stoker" Growcott either left or were ejected from Dexys Midnight Runners, citing creative and personal differences with Dexys frontman Kevin Rowland. Their debut single, Only for Sheep was their biggest chart success, reaching #6 in Australia. However, it failed to make an impact in England, and subsequently the original album was only released in Australia and Canada in 1981.
