
The Bridgebuilders are a five-piece folk group from Boston, Massachusetts. They began in January of 2007 and their blend of folk and funk/rock is unique among other folk or rock musicians. They have released their five-track demo on January 23, 2008, and their debut album, Christening McHaggis, was released on August 21, 2008. The band's music is characterized by rhythmic syncopation, reworkings of traditional folk music, and heavily acoustic sound (with variations such as electric guitar, electric bass, and Hammond organ).
