About The Blues Astronauts
BLUES/JAZZ/FUNK/NO WAVE. The Blues Astronauts were a Yale band, most of them in Jonathan Edwards College, all graduating in 1982. After graduation, they played around Boston for a year before going their separate ways. They were Paul Bloodgood (vocals), Mike Albrecht (guitar), Jodie Myers (bass), Dan Perlman (drums), Boo Elmer (trombone), and Willy MacMullen (harmonica). Andy Breslau replaced MacMullen on harmonica for their Boston years.
