About The Blue Greens
The Blue Greens harken back to the 1940's and 1950s. The time when Jazz/Blues/RnB and RocknRoll were all one and the same. They put the backbeat back into jazz. They remember a time when Jazz was popular music in America and want to make it so again. The Blue Greens started with the meeting of Dave Hillyard on the Saxophone and Simon Chardiet on the Guitar. Dave is known for his playing in ska and reggae bands like the Slackers and the Rocksteady 7. Simon for his playing in punk, surf, and rock bands like the Worms and the Barsinisters.
