The Blarnacles have been playing Celtic, Folk, and Bluegrass influenced acoustic music in the Cincinnati area, since November, 2004. The name "Blarnacles" is compromise hybid of "Blarney" and "Barnacles." Ron and Tamina have been playing bluegrass music (on and off) for about 25 years. For about five years, Ron and Dave played surf instrumental music together with the Maladroits. In 2004, Ron, Tam, and Dave decided to learn to play Celtic music with a folk and bluegrass flair.
