About The Black Parade
The Black Parade is an "alter ego" group of the alternative rock band My Chemical Romance. The debut Black Parade album was released on October 24th, 2006, under the band's original alias of My Chemical Romance. The Black Parade was kept under wraps for as long as possible, but was officially unveiled at a UK show in late August. During live shows on the Black Parade tour, the band is often seen to assume the roles of The Black Parade when playing songs from the eponymous album, and then reverting to My Chemical Romance for earlier material.
