About The Black Flies
The Black Flies released Roots and Roll in August of 2013. It finally saw the light of day with help from their fans and a successful Indiegogo campaign. Their third album was released in time to be nominated for 4 Niagara Music Awards. They ended up winning best Original band.The album was recorded at Groundloop Studio in Ridgeway, Ontario as were the bands first two albums. As well as Producing, Dean Malton also played all the lead guitars. Rob Killian plays all the piano & keys.
