About The Black Blitz
The formation of the band originated from the idea that if we could indulge all of the good stuff from our favourite hard-pounding rock'n'roll heroes, and combine this with our own special sauce and then brew the hell out of it; we should pretty much be on our path towards fun and glory. And so that's exactly what we did! In the fall of 2008, Jonas and Gustav decided to get together and proceeded to jam on some favourite tunes, and at some point along the way, a "sound" emerged from the rattling fuzz-boxes and glowing amplifiers.
