About The Black Armband
The Black Armband lasted about three months in the summer of 1995 in Denton, Texas...a very hot summer, even by Texas standards. The name was taken from a Shiva the Destroyer song of the same name, and was later stolen by former Wannabe Manor housemate and all around scene-suckling poseur Wanz Dover. The members were Chris Pulliam from Suretoss/The Oddfellows/ The Reds on bass and backing vocal, Jordan Caplan a strange little Jewish nerd who had a copy of a tape by The Clean on drums
