The Binary Obsession is a rock band, started by Alex Schetter. Prior to its official inception in late 2007, the musical act went by numerous pseudonyms, performing only once, in New Orleans, under the name Alex Schetter. Alex Schetter has been the sole creative force behind the music since 2000, when he began writing music for the project that would later become The Binary Obsession. Although, he has been composing music since the mid 1990s. Schetter began recording his music in 2001.
