About The Beauties
There are two known bands with this name: 1) The Beauties are a roots/country band from Toronto, Canada. They formed at the Dakota Tavern in 2006 [1]. The Beauties have opened for Skydiggers,[2] Broken Social Scene[3]Justin Rutledge, Jason Collett[4] and have backed up songwriters including Ron Sexsmith, Jim Cuddy, and Serena Ryder [5]. They signed to Six Shooter Records in 2009. That same year, NOW Magazine named the Beauties as the best roots/country band in Toronto. [6]
