There are at least 2 artists called The Basking Sharks. [1] The Basking Sharks formed in 2006 at Durham University, developing a sound drawing on many styles including jazz, funk, latin and reggae. In April 2009 they recorded their first album, 'Chasing the Chariot'. As of September 2009 the band are based in London. Still in their original lineup, the band features: Caz Horgan (acoustic guitar, vocals) Sophie Catlin (vocals) Mitchell Tulloch (bass)
