About The Balmung
THE BALMUNG, founded by singer-songwriter Claudio Pelliccioni, began in 2007 in Mentana, near Rome. Named after a mighty sword of the same name from the epic thirteenth century poem The Nibelungenlied, the band draws inspiration from classic 70's rock, Italian progressive and psychedelic music. Despite coming from different musical backgrounds, the band, presently consisting of Pelliccioni (vocals, guitar), Patrik Auletta (guitar), Francesco Galvan (keyboards)
