About The Assent
The Assent began November 21st, 2008 at the salt lake community college Battle of the bands. The name "the Assent" reflects the groups immediate rise toward success. Drummer, Wes Furgason, is the most experienced member of the band. He has played with several bands with several different styles of musicians. his technical drumming and attention to detail in the music he loves, is his trademark. Bassist, Adam Taylor, has played for years with bands like "Smooth like James".
