About The Apollo Programme
On Black Waves (formerly The Apollo Programme) is a five-piece band from Rotterdam, Holland. With their own unique blend of pop, indie and post-hardcore they thrive on creating and performing up-tempo, quirky yet catchy songs. Originally founded by Marlou, Aram and Willem in 2006, it wasn't until ex-Wagtale members Michiel and Vincent joined forces again in 2009 that the band finally were ready to concentrate on writing songs. In april 2009 they recorded 3 songs in the Independent Recordings studio, with help from engineer Quintijn Verhoef.
