About The Ambassadors of Sorrow
The Ambassadors of Sorrow was British alt-folk duo Angeline Morrison (vocals, autoharp, melodica, melodeon, glockenspiel, rhythm guitar, songwriting) and Nick Radford (guitars, bass). Also involved were Jess Carter (drums), Craig Waite (electric bass guitar) and Kris Dollimore (electric/acoustic guitar). Influences included traditional English folk music, doowop, beat pop and rockabilly via 1960s France. Their sound was described by British radio DJ Steve Lamacq as 'intriguing.
