The Chorus-Ballet Orchestra of The Red Army, better known as the Red Army Choir was founded more than 80 years ago by Alexander Alexandrov, a professor at the Moscow Conservatory, the Red Army Choir consists of a large male choir of Russian military members, along with an orchestra and a dance group. The group is now under the direction of Col. Alexandre Droujinine in agreement with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation
