About the age of heroes
Anda was born in southern Sudan, spending the earlier years of his childhood there before conflicts of the Second Sudanese Civil War forced his family out of the country. Following a stay in Kenya, his parents and siblings were able to move to the United States and settled in Maryland near Washington, DC. Growing up on the move was tough especially feeling out of place on a new continent but that didn't stop Anda from wanting to make music, which he had wanted to do since watching music videos by The Cure and Depeche on African TV.
