A folk-rock band hailing from Seattle, Washington, The Actual Tigers released only one album, "Gravelled & Green" (2001). They cite their influences as varied, from Simon and Garfunkel to the Kinks, and are often compared to the modern band Pavement. The album was highly lauded by critics for its catchy lyrics and emotionally-stirring melodies, but sadly the band's recognition and success was marginal at best. Their current status is unknown, as is whether or not they will continue to produce music together in the future.
