About The Achievers
The Achievers was a band from Delft, Holland. Inspired by songwriters like Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Johnny Cash and JJ Cale, The Achievers played both own songs (with Dutch or English lyrics) and covers, golden oldies by their favorite country and folk artists. Most of the band members had been active in the local music scene before joining The Achievers. Usually in quite loud bands, from punk to metal and worse. After having played in just about every squatters house and shithole, Dirk (rhythm guitar) started itching for something different.
