Textbook was formed in 1998 by singer & songwriter Dave Lysien and has included members of other Chicago bands such as Woolworthy, Noise By Numbers, Loud Lucy, The Bomb, Oblivion, Venom Lords, Monster Trux, and Lysien's previous band, Not Rebecca. They describe their music as "Sometimes pop, sometimes punk, and occasionally a little country". All their music is available on their Bandcamp page, including their 4 full length releases and a new record coming out Oct 28th, 2014 on Torture Chamber Records.
