
Theodotos ("Tetos") Demetriades (Greek: Θεόδοτος ("Τέτος") Δημητριάδης) was an Ottoman Greek rebetiko musician, born in Istanbul/Constantinople, Ottoman Empire, 4 December, 1897, he died 28 November 1971 in Bergen, New Jersey, USA. He moved to the United States in 1921, toward the end of the Turkish–Greek conflict during the last phase of the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and establishment of modern Turkey. In 1927 he recorded an early version of the song Miserlou, Misirlou.
