
Teizo Matsumura (松村禎三, 1929 - 2007) was a Japanese composer and poet. He began to write music and haiku in the 1950s while recovering from tuberculosis. His music was influenced by Western composers such as Ravel and Stravinsky but he was also interested in Asian musical traditions.
