Ted Ravel was a fictional pop singer from the Netherlands, who is said to have been quite popular in an alternate reality of the Dutch underground in the 1980s. Ravel dealt with a lot of mental problems, including most notably a severe depression. He took his own life by hanging himself on March 23, 1985.
