About Tears in a glorious sky
In 2006 Tears in a Glorious Sky was founded by Renske Reitsma, as a three song-project for her final exam at the music academy. She needed someone to sing her songs and Elvera Goedhart was more than happy to help her out. That was the beginning of a lucrative corporation; both girls started writing songs, refining and working them out together. So far, Renske is still the most responsible for the sound of Tears in a Glorious Sky, with it’s dreamy, peaceful and nostalgic melodies.
