About Team Mascot
Born in 2001, Team Mascot's sound is a melding of influences that have been built up over years of listening and studying all forms of music. From Michael Jackson and Prince to The Minutemen and Elvis Costello, it's all somehow entwined in the music Team Mascot writes and plays. Throw in an incredible love of beer, and that pretty much sums up the Mascot. The band began when David Castellanos (guitar/keys/vocals) and Tom Gilhuley (drums/vocals) first met in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2001.
