Tarkovsky Fields is an American instrumental band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania consisting of multi-instrumentalists James Bentz and Doug Fisk. The band explores themes associated with the occult, the night, metaphysics, and phantasmagoria, adding context to heavy, riff-based compositions that rely on the listener to envision narratives through their own imagination, in absence of lyrics. The vocation of the project is to create atmospheric and predominantly non-linear music
