tAngerinecAt is a Welsh duo known for their uncompromising fusion of industrial, electronic, dark jazz, spoken word, and folk influences. Originally formed in Ukraine and now based in North Wales, the project brings together Ukrainian-born multi-instrumentalist, producer, and vocalist Zhenia Purpurovsky and British sound designer and multi-instrumentalist Paul Chilton. The project began in the early 2010s in Kyiv, initially exploring ritualistic folk and experimental sound collage.
