
About Tamas Markus
He started out as a DJ in a hip-hop group in 1988. Soon he got involved not only in New York hip-hop, but Chicago house and Detroit techno. In the 90s, he played at major techno parties in Hungary and in neighboring countries. His very first single, Omega, was published in 1999 by Deadcode Records and was critically acclaimed by DJs like Oliver Ho, Takaaki Itoh and Inigo Kennedy. He founded his own label, Strip, and opened a record store, StripLoopz, after the year 2000.
