About Tamara Barschak
Tamara Barschak trained as a classical pianist in London and Paris subsequently branching out into funk, jazz, blues and world music. A long time fan of Brazilian music, she travelled to Rio de Janeiro where she spent the next three years studying music from the Brazilian canon. Tamara is also a singer and sings in Brazilian Portruguese as well as English. The Kaleidoscope Quartet is Tamara's brainchild. Inspired by the many genres she grew up with in London, the music combines such multi genres as Jazz, Blues, Funk, Soul, Folk and Bossanova.
