
Talal Graish is an Assyrian singer born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq. The village where his parents are originally from is the christian village of Alqosh, which is in northern Iraq. Him and his family left Iraq to go to Greece in 1990, and came to Canada in 1991. Talal pursued his dream to become a singer in 1995 during a party for Mother's Day, which was organized and recommended by Johnson Aga John, the famous Assyrian sax player and that occasion was being held at Assyrian Society of Canada in Mississauga.
