About Taishan
Taishan began as a studio engineer in London, working with the likes of Genacide II, Tony Thorpe, Stereo MC’s and Clyde Stubblefield. His first release 'Shinjuku Drop' came out on Resin Records in 2002 and took the scene by surprise, garnering massive support by the likes of Rennie Pilgrem, Freq Nasty and the Plumps. Follow up single on Resin was 'Dub Hypnosis' which was snapped up as one of the stand out tracks on Freq Nasty's Y4K album and gained huge props from all across the breaks scene and beyond.
