Started in 2000 as a project, searching for a blend of old school electronica like Jean Michel Jarre and Tangerine dream and the new mixtures of today's electronica, trying to combine a mid-tempo beat with a touch of ambient. In 2002 the band got the name symbelmyne, releasing "karma sequence" for advanced synergy records, on a compilation called advanced club 0.1. In 2005 released "misplace" for a label sampler on the same record label. In 2006 symbelmyne added an "R" to the name
